Purpose of job

Develop and support specified accounts ensuring that all customer needs are met. To identify and drive profit potential with these clients for all aspects of the Group.

 Key duties and responsibilities

·         To work on all aspects of your teams client accounts.
·         Build on department relationships to help foster a positive working environment.
·         Recognise and act upon opportunities to maximise efficiency within team’s administration.
·         Recognise and act upon opportunities to maximise efficiency in quotations and with regards to production methods.
·         Liaise with the Client Services Manager on a day to day basis on key account issues.
·         Maintain client status reports for both internal and external use, ensuring client SLA’s are met with regards to content and timing.
·         Upload information to client information systems when necessary for your team accounts.
·         Provide and manage client quotation requirements - screen, digital, litho and subcon,  either personally or liaising with Commercial Department.
·         Brief the production team with details of jobs, ensuring that they are aware of all relevant specific details and that they are able to schedule each job in a timely manner.
·         Liaise with the finishing and despatch departments to ensure that customer packing and storage requirements are met, ensuring all pre-despatches and information is available 48 hours prior to despatch.
·         Ensure that all information supplied from client is thoroughly checked and altered according to SPS internal requirements before passing on to production departments (e.g. allocation spreadsheets, address lists etc.)
·         Ensure that all aspects of the job have been quoted, checked and that details are included in the invoices.  Invoices to be raised within 24 hours of despatch.
·         Provide backup to the Client Service’s team when necessary and cover for holiday and sickness absence.
·         When the receptionist is busy, answer any calls coming into the office
·         Any other duties as required.

 Technical Requirements


·         Skilled use of relevant Microsoft software including Outlook, Word, Excel and the Internet
·         Knowledge of Prism would be an advantage however training will be provided
·         Mauve software – knowledge would be an advantage however training will be provided
·         Use of telephone systems
